1. Resume Workshop with Intel – 3/5/14
Come learn about improving your resume our Resume and Interview Workshop sponsored by Intel!
When: March 5th, 6 PM
Where: 348 Hearst Memorial Mining Building
Learn about Intel and talk to a company representative about hiring MSE majors over some delicious free food!

2. USS-POSCO Plant Tour – 3/7/14
The USS-POSCO is a joint enterprise between US Steel and a Korean Steel company called POSCO. Come join us for a tour of their steel plant in Pittsburg, along with an info session on the company and lunch!
When: March 7th, 2014, 10:40 AM to 3 PM
Where: Meet at the downtown Berkeley BART station
We will travel to Pittsburg together.

3. Big C Sunset Hike! – 3/7/14
Come enjoy the sunset with your friends at MSEA! Meet us on the steps of Hearst Memorial Mining Building at 5 PM for an evening of fun and friends (both old and new!) It’s a great chance to meet otherMSE majors or hang out with any friends you want to bring along!

4. Engineer Week Interdepartmental Competition
Let’s represent the Materials Science Department with some fun inter-departmental competitions during E-Week! The main events are:
– Duct Tape Someone to a Wall – Let’s work together to duct tape one member of our department to a wall with speed and agility!
– Engineering Build & Design – Face off to overcome an awesome design challenge!
